Seth

Seth took an online retailing class when he was 16 and was inspired to launch a website for the pens that he and his brothers were crafting. Seth has handcrafted over 2,000 pens.

He is a Senior in college studying Biblical Studies/Business/Music. His interests include playing the piano and trombone, riding horses, hiking, and woodworking.

Grayson

Grayson, age 22, is the oldest of the eleven Roland children. He is a Senior in college pursuing an Engineering degree. He enjoys making the business run more efficiently. He has crafted many pens to help pay for college and remain debt free. He enjoys robotics and programming and plans to have a career in engineering.

Nate

Nate, age 20, is pursuing a Biblical Studies and Business degree. He makes all the leather pen sleeves for Woodnotch. He spends a lot of his time around horses - either training, riding, roping, ranching, or doing farrier work. He also has his own leather business where he uses his amazing, creative talent to craft and hand-tool belts, purses, wallets, horse tack, and two award-winning saddles. Stephen

Stephen, age 19 is a sophomore in college pursuing a degree in Biblical Studies. He specializes in crafting the southwest-style pens with turquoise inlays. He takes care of all the order fulfillment makes sure your order arrives safely. He plays the trombone and leads the singing at his church. His interests include drones, photography and videography. Laura

Laura is 17 and a junior in homeschool high school. She enjoys making pens that are a little “girly” with purples, pinks, and a little bling. She is working with the Woodnotch “gifts” side of the business. She is making leather earrings and other leather goods for resale. She is an exceptional violinist and has several awards for her hard work. She is also a member of the Tucson Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. She is the oldest girl in the Roland family and is a great cook, baker, and household helper.

Sarah

Sarah Joy is 15 and also makes pens and helps out with various aspects of the company. She is an exceptional cellist and loves to practice. She has competed and placed in several music competitions. She is also a member of the Tucson Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. She loves horseback riding and her dog Dixie.

Samuel

Samuel age 14, is a little entrepreneur! He runs a table at the annual local gem and mineral show and sells items that kids love! He has made over 100 pens in his first year of crafting pens. He helps take care of the family dogs and enjoys riding horses. He enjoys playing the viola.
